Public Consultation Community Garden Project in Trewoon Recreational Land

Published: 15 March 2021

Members were delighted with the responses received via email on the proposed design which included a balance of both positive and negative comments. The parish council appreciate there is still some work to be done to finalise!

In order to move the project forward and consider some new ideas suggested by residents but equally mitigate some of concern, the council would like to take this opportunity asking for 4/5 residents to join a small informal working party group with two Councillors where a more detailed discussion can take place. Due to restrictions on holding physical meetings this can only be carried out virtually using the Zoom platform.

The consultation is now extended to the 7th April 2021 to invite more comments via email to clerk@stmewanparishcouncil.gov.uk or in writing to Parish Clerk, The Garage, The Chase, Sticker PL26 7HL and for those residents who wish to express and interest in joining an informal working party group. Hard copy of the proposed design will be available in Trewoon Post Office, Trewoon Premier Store and The Wagon Wheel in Trewoon. Thank you.

Please note: The Parish Council will also be working in collaboration with children at St Mewan School on this project.
